DRAGSTER FINS | SOFT V-TAIL BAIT

Our staff are delighted to present the Dragster Fins in two sizes: 4 & 6 inches. The smaller size is a marvel for vertical stalking of perch and zander. The 6-inch version is just as sexy vertically, but deadly when it comes to selecting big fish in winter. It's also a top choice for anyone who fishes for big zander and pike! 

In drop shot it has an extraordinary look and its tail comes to life at the slightest touch of the rod. It is very interesting with mini pulls of the rod tip on a frequency of 5 to 7 cm. With this animation, the Dragster Fins moves in one direction and then in the other, giving us the vision of a frightened little fish on the run.

With static/immobile animations this finesse is strikingly true: its caudal appendage reacts wonderfully, making it look like a bleak suspended above the bottom. We develop this approach using a drop shot animation punctuated by small dashes. In this way it moves naturally above the bottom to remain suspended between two waters or sinking slightly towards the bottom depending on the size of hook you use for your drop shot rig.

Mounted on a vertical 10g lead head, it sinks straight down to the bottom quite quickly. Its strength lies in its ability to stay perfectly straight and motionless. At the slightest twitch of the rod tip or in the presence of currents, its slender caudal fin kicks in, giving the impression of a panic-stricken fish or one numbed by the cold remaining motionless.

This type of approach is the preferred signal for beautiful pike-perch close to the bottom. Our Dragster Fins is a lure designed to cope with difficult fish when conventional presentations don't work! On minimalist animations it has a very subtle tail mobility up to half its body. This is a great asset when it comes to dealing with extreme fishing conditions.

The 4" Dragster Fins is excellent as a trailer behind a spinner or chatterbait to increase bite size.

Don't think it's just for drop shot or vertical fishing, the Dragster Fins is magical for scratch fishing. It performs at its best with a slow-motion animation close to the bottom where it is dazzlingly realistic for stalking percids.

For fishing in congested areas with a Texan wide gap hook size 3/0 for the 4 inch size you have the winning combo. This way you can get into obstacles with ease. As for weighting, use it weightless in shallow areas or with a cheburashka head to go deeper.
